3 Day Pacuare River Tour

Welcome to the Pacuare River where you will experience riding the rapids, and choose from horseback riding, butterfly gardens or zip lining and an additional day of running the river. You will experience jungle glamping while listening to the sounds of the jungle by candlelight.
First Day
You will be picked up and transported in an air conditioned, private car to our destination in Tres Equis on the Pacuare River. On arrival you will be introduced to your personal river guide before starting your journey descending the class II and III rapids of the Pacuare. Upon arrival at camp, glamping style, we will relax and enjoy beautiful landscapes and beautiful sunsets at nightfall.
Second Day
We will start with a delicious breakfast and enjoy the beautiful melodies that the birds give us, the fresh wind of the morning and the whisper of the trees and the majestic Pacuare forest. Afterwards, a beautiful horseback tour awaits us where we can get to know part of the true Costa Rican culture, then we will ride to a place full of peace visiting a butterfly farm, there we will enjoy a tasty and typical lunch. We finish and return on the horses to our camp. In the afternoon we can relax or enjoy a night walk.
Third Day
Ready for action! This day will be full of exciting adventures as we will go deep into the Pacuare River where we will enjoy two splendid canyons, unimaginable waterfalls along the river and, of course, the class III and IV rapids down to Siquirres. This tour will take approximately 4 hours, in which we will enjoy a healthy and appetizing lunch — the best Pacuare river style lunch.
